5 Smart Tech Solutions to Boost Your Business

5 Smart Tech Solutions to Boost Your BusinessIn today's whttp://lorenzo-business.blogspot.com/2015/03/5-smart-tech-solutions-to-boost-your.htmlorld, small and medium sized businesses are shifting their trends to equip their workplace with the latest technology. It helps them to conduct business in a strategic way and plan their business to get the competitive edge. Shifting the trend towards technology helps better product development, customer tracking and the marketing process.
You might have taken steps to get your business invested in the latest technology, but there may be a number of things that you have not yet considered. The following strategies will help you perform your tasks in a timely manner. Time saving and accuracy of work will be enhanced, allowing you to conduct your business more effectively. Here are some of the technology-based strategies that will help you in boosting your business.
1. Using Social Media to Boost Sales
Social media networks are helping small and medium sized businesses attract more customers and target them effectively. Social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn are driving tools for your business to boost sales. With the proper implementation of social media strategy, you can enhance your brand, become prominent and interact with both your existing and potential customers as well as building an online community. There are several online communities that can provide a platform for your business which will help keep you ahead of your competitors. Hire a social media strategist to boost your sales.
2. Ensure Proper Online Platforms to Conduct Business
Things have changed a lot with the evolution of technology and that is why most companies are using different online systems to conduct an effective business operation. For example, finance managers use QuickBooks and Oracle to conduct all financial transactions, reporting and forecasting. Rather than relying on paperwork, the managers can easily conduct financial management in less time.
Similarly, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is helping owners build a better relationship with customers, checking on their past transactions and communicating with them.
Workload management has made it easy for owners to keep track of their employees on their tablet or mobile without having to meet with them directly at a designated place.
You can adopt these systems according to your business nature and requirements.
3. Connecting Teams Virtually Within the Company
Create employee portals and team sites to help individuals work successfully across the organization, irrespective of where the location is or the team. You will wipe out "corporate silos" that cut off communication because workers can now use technology to connect with others working on similar projects or find specialists to answer their questions throughout the organization.
4. Implementation of the Cloud System
The Cloud System is a very useful system used today by many small and large companies and has moved the technology paradigm for private companies. The Cloud System is a reliable and inexpensive way to store important documents, files and other business related items. With different plans from monthly to yearly packages offered at a low price, you can simply store your documents online. It will not only give you a safe platform for storage, but it will also allow your employees to access the documents, no matter where they are.
5. Develop a Mobile Application
We have all been reliant on technology, and the next step is developing a mobile application for your business which can bring about an interesting change. A well designed application for your business can open up the opportunities to build customer interaction and give them updates about your business. People are frequently on the move and don't have time to access your website on a laptop. With a simple mobile application, your customer can get the latest updates about your business and stay in touch with just a single tap.
I hope that these tips will help you generate more traffic towards your business. By shifting your business to different technology-based strategies, you can generate additional revenue and manage your time and employees more effectively.

Online Business Ideas For Daredevils

Hasil gambar untuk Online Business Ideas For Daredevils
You probably heard about making money online by creating an online business. The only thing missing is the perfect online business concept. This article will help you do exactly that.
What if I say to you that you don't need to be good at something to be seen as an expert?
Yeah. Pretty unrealistic right? NOT TRUE!
Now before you start yelling at me to stop talking, bare with me for a few more words.
You are reading this because you need a perfect business idea right? You need to know how to find it.
If I inspire you to do just that, what did I do?
I provided you something you need.
You have a struggle right now and I helped you overcome that struggle.
Before I tell you why you don't have to be good at something to be seen as an expert I want to make something clear to you.
Like you, millions of people need information every day about something. And who do they turn to?
Google.
People want to know things from how to cut an union to how to save their marriage and everything in between.
Lets move on.
How can you be an expert without actually being one?
The big mistake you are probably making (and you're not alone, I was exactly the same way at first) is that you think you already have to have all the answers.
You don't have to be a master-chef to know how to cut an union. You do need to know how to cut an union on your way to BECOMING a master-chef.
The person who decided to become a master-chef wants information because they are passionate, they turn to Google because they want to connect and find information. They find lots of different people teaching them different styles of the same thing. They feel connected to some and less to others due to different methods, different personality styles, different levels of mastery.
So I want you to think about something.
What would you like to become good at?
It doesn't matter what it is.
Now just go and study it, practice and document your discoveries. Online.
Blog about it. Make videos about it. People love people who are learning and transforming. You are an example while you are also easy to relate to.
The brilliance of this concept is that you add value because you help people in the 'struggle' of learning the skill. They can easily relate to you because you are just like them, figuring things out. They see you get better. They root for you. They get to share your journey AND learn from you.
You are thus seen as an authority while you are BECOMING an expert.
And somewhere in you journey you begin to see what would be beneficial for total beginners to know. And you make a product for your already existing following.
This is the point were you begin to make money because people already like you, trust you and want to know more. You have been in conversation with them on YouTube and on your blog so all the newcomers see others raving about you and see that people trust you and like you.
They want to know how to get started too so they buy your product. Wouldn't you?
I hope you enjoyed this and feel inspired. You can do this, I promise you.

What are your Strengths? What are you Good at?
Because there is such a great diversity of things you can do online, you first have to decide what is right for you. In what area do you want to work? What Niche are you passionate about? If you choose an area you are passionate about you will enjoy learning more about your hobby and sharing it with others. It will make the long hours you will have to put in to your hobby-business at first, more enjoyable, and people will feel your enthusiasm in your news letters emails and articles. Caring is sharing.

Make the most of everything you do. Don't wait for perfection, improve with practice, but do things as well as you can at the moment and keep learning. Never give up. Expect it to take a while to develop your business and if possible start as a hobby-business, retaining your job. There will be long hours, but less money related stress this way, unless you have unlimited funds.
Hopefully I have given you some good pointers to grow your business and enjoy working on your venture. Below are some books you may find helpful.
"Thank God It's Monday" by Charles Cameron & Suzanne Elusorr.
It is basically about finding work, or starting a business that is totally right for you and until you find it, how to improve your feelings towards your current job. It also discusses doing paid work in order to fund setting up your own venture. I thought this truly relevant for many starting in business. There are exercises to help you decide on your true vocation.
Not only does it show you how to survive a job you dislike intensely, but how certain strategies will help you almost enjoy it! A friend tried the techniques and was amazed at the difference it made for her. I can certainly recommend it as an interesting read with added benefits - Enjoy.
The next book I would like to introduce is:
This is a very thin easy to read book with a simple but powerful message. It opens with him catching a train and the porter despite his menial position, taking delight in his job and learning everything he could in every aspect of his job.
It's about giving 10% extra in every thing you do, to gain a much bigger return on your efforts. Once again a little old faded book with a fantastic message. I hope it's still in print - Enjoy
Two very well-known books By Dale Carnegie, that I have read many times.
"How To Stop Worrying And Start Living"
Here is the story of how, in desperate circumstances he quit his job, and started teaching public speaking. It has techniques to stop people worrying about all the events and areas of their lives. How he turned his life around, and the lives of all he came in contact with. It is full of practical suggestions.
A very well read book that most people have heard of, well worth reading!
Also by Dale Carnegie and just as well-known - "How to Win Friends and Influence People"
A book I found fascinating, it gives you suggestion for changing areas of your life, teaching you how to be more confident, how to get on with people and how to be more interested in others.
"The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy
This book demonstrates how your sub-conscious mind supports you if you learn to understand the messages it sends, sometimes in the form of intuition, also how to go with the flow and let success happen rather than fight it. Success can be curing ill- health, reaching financial freedom or to succeed in whatever area you goals lie.
Hi, I'm Anne and am delighted you're enjoying my articles.

5 Benefits of Creating Your Personal Brand

5 Benefits of Creating Your Personal BrandFor some, the idea of a personal brand is new. Some might think that they don't want to "be a brand." Others might think that branding is not for them (it's for celebrities). Some might even think that building a personal brand requires a team of professionals working around the clock. But it's not something you complete in a few days, weeks, or months. In fact you might have to wait for its benefits over the longer term. It is, however, so important to build your brand in today's social context, particularly when you want to differentiate yourself from others.
Building a brand is not as complicated as it you might think. Your personal brand is a culmination of sharing your expertise, your experiences, showcasing your achievements, getting your due recognition, building trusted connections, and continuously marketing your strengths. That's all it is!
Take control of your professional career and get serious about a personal branding strategy. Here are five benefits that make it worth your time:
1. Show Your Uniqueness
Investing time and effort in your personal brand is crucial to your success. If you are asking, "What's in it for me?" You should know that the most important element of a personal brand is that it differentiates you from others who haven't invested resources in developing an online presence. Stand out from the crowd. Carve out your niche. After all, there is no competition for the inimitable you. Your brand can reflect some of the best of what you would like to show the world. Your brand can be staged on a platform where your digital reputation, professional experience, and portfolio come together and lend credibility the way you market yourself. It can serve as a dynamic business card and be even more valuable than one when people seek you out.
2. Control Public Perception
Branding is about how you are perceived in the market, and today you have control over that. Personal brand management is about cultivating the pieces that tell your story. You can build a great reputation with your willingness to share knowledge and expertise. In today's socially connected world, your reputation can have global reach. This makes your brand more important than ever. Social media has given us an opportunity like never before to communicate with others. It also allows us to shape our brand with a myriad of online tools. You can proactively protect and maintain your public image by investing time in your brand.
3. Build a Following
Each social media outlet offers you the opportunity to build a following. You can become known as an expert in your profession by focusing your effort, planning, and generously sharing your time. But, before putting in your time, make sure you establish your goal in building a following. In other words, "What is your objective in building a following"?
4. Leverage your brand
When you invest time in building your personal brand, you can leverage it to reach valuable connections, find the right avenues for business or career, and secure a high level of visibility. Your brand can be the gateway to your entrepreneurial pursuits and passions. Imagine your brand as leverage in building professional equity.
5. Learn From Your Connections
Branding helps your connections and audience to understand who you are. It also helps you project your value proposition. Interested parties can reach out to you for just about anything. You, in turn, can reach out to them. This is how you build a network of connection that you can learn from and to whom you can contribute. This is how you create circles of trust. It may take time and effort to cultivate relationships like these, but once established, with your continued nurture, no one can take away what you've sown.

Making a Significant Contribution in Your LinkedIn Groups

Making a Significant Contribution in Your LinkedIn Groups
You have worked long and hard at this point to make sure that you are getting the most out of your LinkedIn groups. Let's say that you are a member of 50 groups (the maximum allowed number of groups on LinkedIn) and you are interacting once in a while. You know that you need to do more to really leverage your LinkedIn groups.
How do you start to make a more significant contribution?
The main reason that you are a member of all of those LinkedIn groups is because you want (and need) to focus on the members of your target audience with whom you can share the most productive and mutually beneficial relationship. It may surprise you to learn how many people underestimate the power of LinkedIn. Many, many people have joined a small number of LinkedIn groups and that is the end of it. Another scenario is that a person (perhaps you) have joined a large number of groups but you do absolutely nothing with those connections. You are really hurting yourself and your business by not doing anything. Those groups will prove to be extremely valuable to your business if you get the most out of those connections as you can. There are actually many different benefits that you can derive from LinkedIn groups, including establishing yourself as a subject matter expert (SME), proving your credibility to the other people, and making your online connections understand that you are someone whom they should trust. Those are absolutely critical qualities when it comes to business success.
One of the more recent improvements of LinkedIn Groups is a feature called "Top Contributors," which can pinpoint the members of your groups that have made the biggest "splash" in the groups. If you are a top contributor, that means that you have suggested topics that excite the other group members and those discussions really go a long way when it comes to building credibility, especially with people with whom you have had very little interaction up to that point. Being a top contributor will also do a great deal for your online exposure and LinkedIn will put you at the top of the page that is sent to the other members to share discussions. There are specific steps to follow in order for you to become a top contributor.
  • The first thing that you will need to do is join 50 groups (as mentioned previously): You will want to choose not only groups that are relevant to your niche but also groups that have a large number of members in them. It is important to take advantage of as many groups as possible. You will want to search using relevant keywords and key phrases. However, it is important that you don't choose keywords or key phrases that are too complicated. You want them to be simple yet just descriptive enough. It is probably best to choose as many local groups as possible. If you put in too much detail, it will be harder for other people to find you. Another important thing to remember is that many groups will have to approve you before you are actually a member of that particular group. The approval can take anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks. If it takes any more than that, you may want to reconsider whether you really want to become a member of that group.

  • Identifying top-quality groups: You will probably not have a difficult time identifying the right groups for your business. The easiest ways to determine this are by the quality of the discussions in that particular group, the appropriateness of the group members, the consistent frequency of the comment postings, and the amount of spam that you see.

  • Begin to get involved with the discussions: Once you have been accepted to the appropriate groups, you need to start getting involved with the members. It is advisable that you jump on the discussions that are already going on as opposed to starting your own discussions right off the bat. That can come later.

  • Choose really exciting content to address: It makes perfect sense to identify the most interesting content and start to engage people. With a little luck and your great mind, the discussion will prove very interesting indeed!

  • Create amazing content that really demonstrates what you stand for: Although you will be a member of 50 different groups. you need to focus your thinking on one group and create content that will put you in the position of sharing content that will really get people excited about what you are saying. The other groups will follow after that and you will start to work all of your groups effectively.

  • Ask a thought-provoking question: A wonderful way to get a discussion moving is to ask an interesting, thought-provoking question that compels people to want to get involved. It is also important to remember not to ask a question that can be answered with either "yes" or "no." You want to discussion to continue for quite a while and "yes" or "no" will not allow that to happen.
Conclusion
Being a top contributor in your LinkedIn groups is critical to your continued professional success. The effective approach has been outlined here and if you follow those steps in that order, you will be a top contributor before you know it. Just remember that LinkedIn groups is an extremely powerful tool so take full advantage of it. After you have mastered the ability to become a top contributor in your LinkedIn groups, the next thing that will happen will be that you will become an influencer.

Blogging Buddies - The Importance of Having Online Friends

Blogging Buddies - The Importance of Having Online Friends
Online Friends Teach Each Other the Value of Optimization
One great benefit of having online friends is that the more experienced bloggers can teach other bloggers how to optimize their blogs' performance. Optimizing a blog's performance theoretically means that more visitors will be coming to the blog. Blogs give their owners the ability to have people who read the blog leave their comments; if blog owners do not desire to give people this freedom, they can de-activate the capability. For those who are seeking comments, optimization of a website would mean that more comments are being left.
Example of How an SEO Expert Helped a Fellow Blogger
An example of how becoming someone's friend helped her to improve her blogs' performance with traffic and comments comes from a search engine optimization (SEO) expert. This particular expert pulled two friends aside and informed them of the SEO tactics that could help them increase their traffic.
For one, she explained to them how keyword research would be of benefit to them. This expert now has proof to show everyone that keyword research does have a good effect on a blog, because one of her friends took her advice wholeheartedly and the other did not. Only one of these online friends experienced an increase in traffic to her blog.
Social Development Benefits From Having Many Online Friends
The act of blogging increases the blogger's social development by expanding the blogger's social circles. As a blogger gains online friends, those friends who also have other friends introduce the new blog they have found to those existing friends. In turn, those friends become the friends of the original blogger. The opportunity for friends to grow exponentially by way of this process is very high the more friends online are added to a blogger's roster.
How Online Friends Help Their Friends Grow
As a blogger's list of online friends grows, bloggers have even more people to help out with problems they may be having. As a result, these bloggers' skills have the potential to increase every time they are introduced to a solution to a problem they previously did not have. In order to take advantage of this large group of friends, all a blogger has to do is ask a question, and because friends generally want to help each other, several answers appear in their comments sections.
Online friends help to increase a blogger's knowledge by sending them important information by way of links. If one friend has a question about daffodils, for example, and another friend has been researching this subject for a long time, this friend will have links to websites and other blogs that will give their online friends what they are looking for. The more often this happens, the more a blogger's knowledge grows.

How to Improve Your Engagement on Google+

How to Improve Your Engagement on Google+
Engaging is more than just posting messages on the site. It involves interacting with people you're connected with.
Here are some of the best ways to help you increase your engagement on Google+. Major companies have used them and have proven them to be very effective.
Format Your Text
Take advantage of the fact that you can post longer messages on G+. Take note, however, that it's best to add some formatting variety to your post to make it stand out and attract readers at first glance.
Instead of the usual text you use, make some words or headings bold, italicize them or use strike-through text.
To make the text bold, use the asterisk sign before and after the word or set of words (*social*). To italicize, use the underscore sign before and after the words (_social_) and to strike through, use the dash sign (-social-).
Use Attractive Photos
Including an image in your post, notably a high resolution one, is a great way to attract readers. Make sure you choose photos with bright colors that can easily attract attention.
The best option is to upload an image you've saved to your computer as this normally displays larger than the image that shows if you post a link to an article on the web as your status update.
Get More Personal
By personal, we mean sharing the interests of your followers and encouraging them to participate in the discussion. For instance, you can post a question about something that matters to them. Or you can get their feedback on your products and services. Questions are often effective in prompting followers to share their views and comments.
Through the comments that you get on your posts, it would then be easy for you to tailor future updates that will matter to your followers. And since you get immediate feedback, you can then create new products or services that meet their needs.
Encourage People to Act
Other than using questions, another way to engage people is to encourage them to contribute to your content. Some companies use high-resolution photos that show action and ask their readers to provide their own captions.
Launching a contest is also effective in inviting people to follow you moving forward.
Use a Theme
The idea of using a theme is to broaden your community, increase your exposure and encourage people to follow you regularly. You can use the hashtag feature to do this whether it's a text update you're posting or a photo.
To find out the popular hashtags, you can check the trending box on the Google+ profile.

Strengthening Your Online Influencer

Strengthening Your Online InfluencerIf you have been in business for any length of time, even a short length, you must understand how important influencers are to your brand and to your online and in-person interactions. Of course, there are several steps that you need to follow before you even get to the point of putting together a list of influencers; however, once you are at that point, your influencer list should be solid and robust. It may be time to take your list and build on it and make it even stronger.
Where do you find influencers?
The fact is that influencers are all around you. It is not as simple as reaching out and grabbing the ones that will be the best for your business. Oh, it would be great if it were that easy. However, just like it is with anything else in life, it begins with establishing a relationship. You meet the influencer, start to interact with that person, begin to build trust and prove credibility, and you go from there. Once you feel that you have a relatively solid relationship with your influencer, you can appropriately add that person to your list of influencers. Of course, it is probably obvious to you that you must proceed carefully when it comes to identifying your influencer in the first place.
The person must be a good match for your brand and your business and, hopefully, the influencer will have the same vision that you have when it comes to goals for the your business. So, what follows that is the concept that they will attract other people to you and your brand. You will have a chance to form all sorts of meaningful relationships that will hopefully stand the test of time. At this point, you may be wondering exactly how you can connect with the appropriate influencers and build relationships with those influencers that are solid enough to actually add them to your list.
  • First things first, scope out the content: Before you can have any hope of building an influencer list, you need to read what they are sharing and figure out if those particular influencers are right for your brand. Realistically, you should read their content for quite a while before you decide if they are right for you and your business. If they are truly influencers, they will have plenty of valuable content, which will undoubtedly resonate with you easily. After you read enough of their content, you will begin to understand exactly what they stand for. Once you have done that, you can do more extensive research on that particular topic or topics by reading other people's content online as well. It is pretty easy to get a handle of that particular thing once you start to get into it. Of course, if you are trying to establish a relationship with that influencer and share him or her with your other online connections, the influencer better be someone whom you are proud to share with your other online connections. The reason that it is so important is because it is your reputation and your credibility on the line and you must do everything possible to protect your reputation.

  • After you have gotten a handle on your influencer's intellectual strengths: Once you have become very well acquainted with your influencer's thought process and knowledge, the next thing that you will want to do is to follow the influencer on social media. Twitter is a really good choice for that. At that point, you can feel free to add the influencer to your Twitter lists so that you get the most out of your Twitter feed. The more profound you make your connection to the influencer, the better you will get to know him or her and the sooner you can leverage that relationship for your own brand and your business. Before you know it, you will be interacting with the influencer directly.

  • Start establishing your relationship with the influencer: There are some truths that are important for you to understand when it comes to your influencers. First of all, the influencer (because he or she has taken the difficult journey to become the influencer) has a strong list of other connections online. You definitely want to have access to your influencer's online connections. That is a wonderful way to widen your online social circles and to start building a whole bunch of new relationships, which will hopefully be mutually beneficial and rock solid. Of course, the mirror image is also true. You must make a tremendous effort to give as much to your influencer (and to all of your other treasured online connections) as he or she gives to you.
Conclusion
Your list of influencers is extremely important and will be very instrumental to your brand's success. It is important to remember to be as discriminating as you need to be when choosing exactly how to populate your list of influencers. Make sure that you "get to know them" before you ever approach them and begin to interact with them.
However, remember that it is equally important for you to approach the relationship with your influencers in a way that makes them want to be a part of your online world. Also, one of the most important principles for you to keep in mind is that you must prove your credibility and trustworthiness to your influencers so that they will really want to share a relationship with you.
