5 Smart Tech Solutions to Boost Your Business

5 Smart Tech Solutions to Boost Your BusinessIn today's whttp://lorenzo-business.blogspot.com/2015/03/5-smart-tech-solutions-to-boost-your.htmlorld, small and medium sized businesses are shifting their trends to equip their workplace with the latest technology. It helps them to conduct business in a strategic way and plan their business to get the competitive edge. Shifting the trend towards technology helps better product development, customer tracking and the marketing process.
You might have taken steps to get your business invested in the latest technology, but there may be a number of things that you have not yet considered. The following strategies will help you perform your tasks in a timely manner. Time saving and accuracy of work will be enhanced, allowing you to conduct your business more effectively. Here are some of the technology-based strategies that will help you in boosting your business.
1. Using Social Media to Boost Sales
Social media networks are helping small and medium sized businesses attract more customers and target them effectively. Social networks such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn are driving tools for your business to boost sales. With the proper implementation of social media strategy, you can enhance your brand, become prominent and interact with both your existing and potential customers as well as building an online community. There are several online communities that can provide a platform for your business which will help keep you ahead of your competitors. Hire a social media strategist to boost your sales.
2. Ensure Proper Online Platforms to Conduct Business
Things have changed a lot with the evolution of technology and that is why most companies are using different online systems to conduct an effective business operation. For example, finance managers use QuickBooks and Oracle to conduct all financial transactions, reporting and forecasting. Rather than relying on paperwork, the managers can easily conduct financial management in less time.
Similarly, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is helping owners build a better relationship with customers, checking on their past transactions and communicating with them.
Workload management has made it easy for owners to keep track of their employees on their tablet or mobile without having to meet with them directly at a designated place.
You can adopt these systems according to your business nature and requirements.
3. Connecting Teams Virtually Within the Company
Create employee portals and team sites to help individuals work successfully across the organization, irrespective of where the location is or the team. You will wipe out "corporate silos" that cut off communication because workers can now use technology to connect with others working on similar projects or find specialists to answer their questions throughout the organization.
4. Implementation of the Cloud System
The Cloud System is a very useful system used today by many small and large companies and has moved the technology paradigm for private companies. The Cloud System is a reliable and inexpensive way to store important documents, files and other business related items. With different plans from monthly to yearly packages offered at a low price, you can simply store your documents online. It will not only give you a safe platform for storage, but it will also allow your employees to access the documents, no matter where they are.
5. Develop a Mobile Application
We have all been reliant on technology, and the next step is developing a mobile application for your business which can bring about an interesting change. A well designed application for your business can open up the opportunities to build customer interaction and give them updates about your business. People are frequently on the move and don't have time to access your website on a laptop. With a simple mobile application, your customer can get the latest updates about your business and stay in touch with just a single tap.
I hope that these tips will help you generate more traffic towards your business. By shifting your business to different technology-based strategies, you can generate additional revenue and manage your time and employees more effectively.

Online Business Ideas For Daredevils

Hasil gambar untuk Online Business Ideas For Daredevils
You probably heard about making money online by creating an online business. The only thing missing is the perfect online business concept. This article will help you do exactly that.
What if I say to you that you don't need to be good at something to be seen as an expert?
Yeah. Pretty unrealistic right? NOT TRUE!
Now before you start yelling at me to stop talking, bare with me for a few more words.
You are reading this because you need a perfect business idea right? You need to know how to find it.
If I inspire you to do just that, what did I do?
I provided you something you need.
You have a struggle right now and I helped you overcome that struggle.
Before I tell you why you don't have to be good at something to be seen as an expert I want to make something clear to you.
Like you, millions of people need information every day about something. And who do they turn to?
Google.
People want to know things from how to cut an union to how to save their marriage and everything in between.
Lets move on.
How can you be an expert without actually being one?
The big mistake you are probably making (and you're not alone, I was exactly the same way at first) is that you think you already have to have all the answers.
You don't have to be a master-chef to know how to cut an union. You do need to know how to cut an union on your way to BECOMING a master-chef.
The person who decided to become a master-chef wants information because they are passionate, they turn to Google because they want to connect and find information. They find lots of different people teaching them different styles of the same thing. They feel connected to some and less to others due to different methods, different personality styles, different levels of mastery.
So I want you to think about something.
What would you like to become good at?
It doesn't matter what it is.
Now just go and study it, practice and document your discoveries. Online.
Blog about it. Make videos about it. People love people who are learning and transforming. You are an example while you are also easy to relate to.
The brilliance of this concept is that you add value because you help people in the 'struggle' of learning the skill. They can easily relate to you because you are just like them, figuring things out. They see you get better. They root for you. They get to share your journey AND learn from you.
You are thus seen as an authority while you are BECOMING an expert.
And somewhere in you journey you begin to see what would be beneficial for total beginners to know. And you make a product for your already existing following.
This is the point were you begin to make money because people already like you, trust you and want to know more. You have been in conversation with them on YouTube and on your blog so all the newcomers see others raving about you and see that people trust you and like you.
They want to know how to get started too so they buy your product. Wouldn't you?
I hope you enjoyed this and feel inspired. You can do this, I promise you.

Expect it to take a while to develop your business and if possible start as a hobby-business, retaining your job. There will be long hours, but less money related stress this way, unless you have unlimited funds.
Hopefully I have given you some good pointers to grow your business and enjoy working on your venture. Below are some books you may find helpful.
"Thank God It's Monday" by Charles Cameron & Suzanne Elusorr.
It is basically about finding work, or starting a business that is totally right for you and until you find it, how to improve your feelings towards your current job. It also discusses doing paid work in order to fund setting up your own venture. I thought this truly relevant for many starting in business. There are exercises to help you decide on your true vocation.
Not only does it show you how to survive a job you dislike intensely, but how certain strategies will help you almost enjoy it! A friend tried the techniques and was amazed at the difference it made for her. I can certainly recommend it as an interesting read with added benefits - Enjoy.
The next book I would like to introduce is:
This is a very thin easy to read book with a simple but powerful message. It opens with him catching a train and the porter despite his menial position, taking delight in his job and learning everything he could in every aspect of his job.
It's about giving 10% extra in every thing you do, to gain a much bigger return on your efforts. Once again a little old faded book with a fantastic message. I hope it's still in print - Enjoy
Two very well-known books By Dale Carnegie, that I have read many times.
"How To Stop Worrying And Start Living"
Here is the story of how, in desperate circumstances he quit his job, and started teaching public speaking. It has techniques to stop people worrying about all the events and areas of their lives. How he turned his life around, and the lives of all he came in contact with. It is full of practical suggestions.
A very well read book that most people have heard of, well worth reading!
Also by Dale Carnegie and just as well-known - "How to Win Friends and Influence People"
A book I found fascinating, it gives you suggestion for changing areas of your life, teaching you how to be more confident, how to get on with people and how to be more interested in others.
"The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy
This book demonstrates how your sub-conscious mind supports you if you learn to understand the messages it sends, sometimes in the form of intuition, also how to go with the flow and let success happen rather than fight it. Success can be curing ill- health, reaching financial freedom or to succeed in whatever area you goals lie.
Hi, I'm Anne and am delighted you're enjoying my articles.
Best Wishes in your venture, take a look at the information to grow your business FAST.

5 Benefits of Creating Your Personal Brand

5 Benefits of Creating Your Personal BrandFor some, the idea of a personal brand is new. Some might think that they don't want to "be a brand." Others might think that branding is not for them (it's for celebrities). Some might even think that building a personal brand requires a team of professionals working around the clock. But it's not something you complete in a few days, weeks, or months. In fact you might have to wait for its benefits over the longer term. It is, however, so important to build your brand in today's social context, particularly when you want to differentiate yourself from others.
Building a brand is not as complicated as it you might think. Your personal brand is a culmination of sharing your expertise, your experiences, showcasing your achievements, getting your due recognition, building trusted connections, and continuously marketing your strengths. That's all it is!
Take control of your professional career and get serious about a personal branding strategy. Here are five benefits that make it worth your time:
1. Show Your Uniqueness
Investing time and effort in your personal brand is crucial to your success. If you are asking, "What's in it for me?" You should know that the most important element of a personal brand is that it differentiates you from others who haven't invested resources in developing an online presence. Stand out from the crowd. Carve out your niche. After all, there is no competition for the inimitable you. Your brand can reflect some of the best of what you would like to show the world. Your brand can be staged on a platform where your digital reputation, professional experience, and portfolio come together and lend credibility the way you market yourself. It can serve as a dynamic business card and be even more valuable than one when people seek you out.
2. Control Public Perception
Branding is about how you are perceived in the market, and today you have control over that. Personal brand management is about cultivating the pieces that tell your story. You can build a great reputation with your willingness to share knowledge and expertise. In today's socially connected world, your reputation can have global reach. This makes your brand more important than ever. Social media has given us an opportunity like never before to communicate with others. It also allows us to shape our brand with a myriad of online tools. You can proactively protect and maintain your public image by investing time in your brand.
3. Build a Following
Each social media outlet offers you the opportunity to build a following. You can become known as an expert in your profession by focusing your effort, planning, and generously sharing your time. But, before putting in your time, make sure you establish your goal in building a following. In other words, "What is your objective in building a following"?
4. Leverage your brand
When you invest time in building your personal brand, you can leverage it to reach valuable connections, find the right avenues for business or career, and secure a high level of visibility. Your brand can be the gateway to your entrepreneurial pursuits and passions. Imagine your brand as leverage in building professional equity.
5. Learn From Your Connections
Branding helps your connections and audience to understand who you are. It also helps you project your value proposition. Interested parties can reach out to you for just about anything. You, in turn, can reach out to them. This is how you build a network of connection that you can learn from and to whom you can contribute. This is how you create circles of trust. It may take time and effort to cultivate relationships like these, but once established, with your continued nurture, no one can take away what you've sown.

Making a Significant Contribution in Your LinkedIn Groups

Making a Significant Contribution in Your LinkedIn Groups
You have worked long and hard at this point to make sure that you are getting the most out of your LinkedIn groups. Let's say that you are a member of 50 groups (the maximum allowed number of groups on LinkedIn) and you are interacting once in a while. You know that you need to do more to really leverage your LinkedIn groups.
How do you start to make a more significant contribution?
The main reason that you are a member of all of those LinkedIn groups is because you want (and need) to focus on the members of your target audience with whom you can share the most productive and mutually beneficial relationship. It may surprise you to learn how many people underestimate the power of LinkedIn. Many, many people have joined a small number of LinkedIn groups and that is the end of it. Another scenario is that a person (perhaps you) have joined a large number of groups but you do absolutely nothing with those connections. You are really hurting yourself and your business by not doing anything. Those groups will prove to be extremely valuable to your business if you get the most out of those connections as you can. There are actually many different benefits that you can derive from LinkedIn groups, including establishing yourself as a subject matter expert (SME), proving your credibility to the other people, and making your online connections understand that you are someone whom they should trust. Those are absolutely critical qualities when it comes to business success.
One of the more recent improvements of LinkedIn Groups is a feature called "Top Contributors," which can pinpoint the members of your groups that have made the biggest "splash" in the groups. If you are a top contributor, that means that you have suggested topics that excite the other group members and those discussions really go a long way when it comes to building credibility, especially with people with whom you have had very little interaction up to that point. Being a top contributor will also do a great deal for your online exposure and LinkedIn will put you at the top of the page that is sent to the other members to share discussions. There are specific steps to follow in order for you to become a top contributor.
  • The first thing that you will need to do is join 50 groups (as mentioned previously): You will want to choose not only groups that are relevant to your niche but also groups that have a large number of members in them. It is important to take advantage of as many groups as possible. You will want to search using relevant keywords and key phrases. However, it is important that you don't choose keywords or key phrases that are too complicated. You want them to be simple yet just descriptive enough. It is probably best to choose as many local groups as possible. If you put in too much detail, it will be harder for other people to find you. Another important thing to remember is that many groups will have to approve you before you are actually a member of that particular group. The approval can take anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks. If it takes any more than that, you may want to reconsider whether you really want to become a member of that group.

  • Identifying top-quality groups: You will probably not have a difficult time identifying the right groups for your business. The easiest ways to determine this are by the quality of the discussions in that particular group, the appropriateness of the group members, the consistent frequency of the comment postings, and the amount of spam that you see.

  • Begin to get involved with the discussions: Once you have been accepted to the appropriate groups, you need to start getting involved with the members. It is advisable that you jump on the discussions that are already going on as opposed to starting your own discussions right off the bat. That can come later.

  • Choose really exciting content to address: It makes perfect sense to identify the most interesting content and start to engage people. With a little luck and your great mind, the discussion will prove very interesting indeed!

  • Create amazing content that really demonstrates what you stand for: Although you will be a member of 50 different groups. you need to focus your thinking on one group and create content that will put you in the position of sharing content that will really get people excited about what you are saying. The other groups will follow after that and you will start to work all of your groups effectively.

  • Ask a thought-provoking question: A wonderful way to get a discussion moving is to ask an interesting, thought-provoking question that compels people to want to get involved. It is also important to remember not to ask a question that can be answered with either "yes" or "no." You want to discussion to continue for quite a while and "yes" or "no" will not allow that to happen.
Conclusion
Being a top contributor in your LinkedIn groups is critical to your continued professional success. The effective approach has been outlined here and if you follow those steps in that order, you will be a top contributor before you know it. Just remember that LinkedIn groups is an extremely powerful tool so take full advantage of it. After you have mastered the ability to become a top contributor in your LinkedIn groups, the next thing that will happen will be that you will become an influencer.

Blogging Buddies - The Importance of Having Online Friends

Blogging Buddies - The Importance of Having Online Friends
Online Friends Teach Each Other the Value of Optimization
One great benefit of having online friends is that the more experienced bloggers can teach other bloggers how to optimize their blogs' performance. Optimizing a blog's performance theoretically means that more visitors will be coming to the blog. Blogs give their owners the ability to have people who read the blog leave their comments; if blog owners do not desire to give people this freedom, they can de-activate the capability. For those who are seeking comments, optimization of a website would mean that more comments are being left.
Example of How an SEO Expert Helped a Fellow Blogger
An example of how becoming someone's friend helped her to improve her blogs' performance with traffic and comments comes from a search engine optimization (SEO) expert. This particular expert pulled two friends aside and informed them of the SEO tactics that could help them increase their traffic.
For one, she explained to them how keyword research would be of benefit to them. This expert now has proof to show everyone that keyword research does have a good effect on a blog, because one of her friends took her advice wholeheartedly and the other did not. Only one of these online friends experienced an increase in traffic to her blog.
Social Development Benefits From Having Many Online Friends
The act of blogging increases the blogger's social development by expanding the blogger's social circles. As a blogger gains online friends, those friends who also have other friends introduce the new blog they have found to those existing friends. In turn, those friends become the friends of the original blogger. The opportunity for friends to grow exponentially by way of this process is very high the more friends online are added to a blogger's roster.
How Online Friends Help Their Friends Grow
As a blogger's list of online friends grows, bloggers have even more people to help out with problems they may be having. As a result, these bloggers' skills have the potential to increase every time they are introduced to a solution to a problem they previously did not have. In order to take advantage of this large group of friends, all a blogger has to do is ask a question, and because friends generally want to help each other, several answers appear in their comments sections.
Online friends help to increase a blogger's knowledge by sending them important information by way of links. If one friend has a question about daffodils, for example, and another friend has been researching this subject for a long time, this friend will have links to websites and other blogs that will give their online friends what they are looking for. The more often this happens, the more a blogger's knowledge grows.

How to Improve Your Engagement on Google+

How to Improve Your Engagement on Google+
Engaging is more than just posting messages on the site. It involves interacting with people you're connected with.
Here are some of the best ways to help you increase your engagement on Google+. Major companies have used them and have proven them to be very effective.
Format Your Text
Take advantage of the fact that you can post longer messages on G+. Take note, however, that it's best to add some formatting variety to your post to make it stand out and attract readers at first glance.
Instead of the usual text you use, make some words or headings bold, italicize them or use strike-through text.
To make the text bold, use the asterisk sign before and after the word or set of words (*social*). To italicize, use the underscore sign before and after the words (_social_) and to strike through, use the dash sign (-social-).
Use Attractive Photos
Including an image in your post, notably a high resolution one, is a great way to attract readers. Make sure you choose photos with bright colors that can easily attract attention.
The best option is to upload an image you've saved to your computer as this normally displays larger than the image that shows if you post a link to an article on the web as your status update.
Get More Personal
By personal, we mean sharing the interests of your followers and encouraging them to participate in the discussion. For instance, you can post a question about something that matters to them. Or you can get their feedback on your products and services. Questions are often effective in prompting followers to share their views and comments.
Through the comments that you get on your posts, it would then be easy for you to tailor future updates that will matter to your followers. And since you get immediate feedback, you can then create new products or services that meet their needs.
Encourage People to Act
Other than using questions, another way to engage people is to encourage them to contribute to your content. Some companies use high-resolution photos that show action and ask their readers to provide their own captions.
Launching a contest is also effective in inviting people to follow you moving forward.
Use a Theme
The idea of using a theme is to broaden your community, increase your exposure and encourage people to follow you regularly. You can use the hashtag feature to do this whether it's a text update you're posting or a photo.
To find out the popular hashtags, you can check the trending box on the Google+ profile.

Strengthening Your Online Influencer

Strengthening Your Online InfluencerIf you have been in business for any length of time, even a short length, you must understand how important influencers are to your brand and to your online and in-person interactions. Of course, there are several steps that you need to follow before you even get to the point of putting together a list of influencers; however, once you are at that point, your influencer list should be solid and robust. It may be time to take your list and build on it and make it even stronger.
Where do you find influencers?
The fact is that influencers are all around you. It is not as simple as reaching out and grabbing the ones that will be the best for your business. Oh, it would be great if it were that easy. However, just like it is with anything else in life, it begins with establishing a relationship. You meet the influencer, start to interact with that person, begin to build trust and prove credibility, and you go from there. Once you feel that you have a relatively solid relationship with your influencer, you can appropriately add that person to your list of influencers. Of course, it is probably obvious to you that you must proceed carefully when it comes to identifying your influencer in the first place.
The person must be a good match for your brand and your business and, hopefully, the influencer will have the same vision that you have when it comes to goals for the your business. So, what follows that is the concept that they will attract other people to you and your brand. You will have a chance to form all sorts of meaningful relationships that will hopefully stand the test of time. At this point, you may be wondering exactly how you can connect with the appropriate influencers and build relationships with those influencers that are solid enough to actually add them to your list.
  • First things first, scope out the content: Before you can have any hope of building an influencer list, you need to read what they are sharing and figure out if those particular influencers are right for your brand. Realistically, you should read their content for quite a while before you decide if they are right for you and your business. If they are truly influencers, they will have plenty of valuable content, which will undoubtedly resonate with you easily. After you read enough of their content, you will begin to understand exactly what they stand for. Once you have done that, you can do more extensive research on that particular topic or topics by reading other people's content online as well. It is pretty easy to get a handle of that particular thing once you start to get into it. Of course, if you are trying to establish a relationship with that influencer and share him or her with your other online connections, the influencer better be someone whom you are proud to share with your other online connections. The reason that it is so important is because it is your reputation and your credibility on the line and you must do everything possible to protect your reputation.

  • After you have gotten a handle on your influencer's intellectual strengths: Once you have become very well acquainted with your influencer's thought process and knowledge, the next thing that you will want to do is to follow the influencer on social media. Twitter is a really good choice for that. At that point, you can feel free to add the influencer to your Twitter lists so that you get the most out of your Twitter feed. The more profound you make your connection to the influencer, the better you will get to know him or her and the sooner you can leverage that relationship for your own brand and your business. Before you know it, you will be interacting with the influencer directly.

  • Start establishing your relationship with the influencer: There are some truths that are important for you to understand when it comes to your influencers. First of all, the influencer (because he or she has taken the difficult journey to become the influencer) has a strong list of other connections online. You definitely want to have access to your influencer's online connections. That is a wonderful way to widen your online social circles and to start building a whole bunch of new relationships, which will hopefully be mutually beneficial and rock solid. Of course, the mirror image is also true. You must make a tremendous effort to give as much to your influencer (and to all of your other treasured online connections) as he or she gives to you.
Conclusion
Your list of influencers is extremely important and will be very instrumental to your brand's success. It is important to remember to be as discriminating as you need to be when choosing exactly how to populate your list of influencers. Make sure that you "get to know them" before you ever approach them and begin to interact with them.
However, remember that it is equally important for you to approach the relationship with your influencers in a way that makes them want to be a part of your online world. Also, one of the most important principles for you to keep in mind is that you must prove your credibility and trustworthiness to your influencers so that they will really want to share a relationship with you.

GPS Fleet Vehicle Tracking

GPS Fleet Vehicle TrackingIncreased financial pressures, world economic downturn and austerity measures are all leading to companies taking a serious look at their operating costs and practices for savings. One area that can lead to greater control and increase cost control, especially with larger businesses, is through GPS vehicle tracking.
Through the use of GPS vehicle tracking, the monitoring of the precise locations of a company's fleet vehicles can make it easier to allocate resources effectively. GPS vehicle management records a number of vehicle parameters that can be used to organise cost effective delivery routes, economical distribution of workloads based on a vehicles proximity to jobs and the analysing of a driver's habits, speeds and journeys to make more efficient use of time.
Many GPS vehicle tracking systems include live vehicle tracking which makes response times quicker and allows Fleet Managers the luxury of knowing exactly where their resources are at any one time. Live GPS trackers are particularly useful for companies and services where response times are critical or essential for customer satisfaction. Health service providers, where patient care is of vital importance, or taxi services when customers demand a fast response are all aided by the installation of a vehicle-tracking network.
GPS vehicle management systems allow for the monitoring of multiple resources simultaneously and produce up to the minute data so that Fleet Managers can instantly respond to circumstances. Whether that be a life threatening emergency or a change in customer demand, for instance when a theatre turns out or an airplane lands, it gives controllers the opportunity to react immediately.
Modern GPS vehicle trackers are able to record a number of such parameters as speed, direction, location and status. The Fleet Manager can discover when a vehicle is stationary, if it moves and whether it enters or leaves predetermined geographical zones. For instance if plant machinery leaves a building site, or a parked vehicle suddenly moves, the controller can be alerted to the fact that there is an abnormal situation occurring. These security facilities can warn of theft but also aid in tracking down the stolen vehicle as well.
Companies have found that with these safety features and the cost savings on fuel and maintenance made possible by monitoring vehicle performance and usage are good for business. The fitting of GPS management systems means more efficient allocation of tasks and leads to less workforce stress, while the controllers are able to guide drivers around problem areas or towards difficult destinations, this all leads to a more productive, customer focused service and increased business.

A keyless remote is designed to allow or deny access to a vehicle. It functions like normal keys without any physical contact. You can lock/unlock the door of your car by just pressing a button. One of the benefits of this remote is that it works from quite a distance. Some features of this remote system, which makes it different from normal car keys, are discussed below.
Functions: This remote system depends on two components - a remote key and a receiver installed in the vehicle. The remote key has an inbuilt chip in it with a unique code that matches with the code installed in the receiver of the vehicle. When a button on the remote is pressed to perform a function, the chip inside the remote sends radio waves to the device in the car at a specific frequency. If this code matches with the code of the device in the car, this device allows the function to be performed. In case of any mismatch in these codes, the vehicle would not respond.
Convenience: A keyless remote makes it easier for a person to use the car. For instance, if you come to the car with both your hands loaded with bags after shopping, you can easily open the car's trunk with the press of a button which makes it much easier to put the bags in the car. The same task would've taken double the time if there was no keyless remote for the car.
Safety: A keyless remote keeps the car safe from theft. The car's engine cannot be started with a different remote and the code inside the remote cannot be copied as well. This completely eliminates every possible chance of the car being stolen. The only risk is when you lose the remote and the thief gets the same remote. In most of today's modern cars, alarm systems are installed in cars which start buzzing if the car is tried to open in a wrongful manner.
Benefits: A keyless remote enables you to set the car's temperature even before entering it. This feature is useful during extreme climatic conditions. It is also easy to locate a car which is parked in a fully packed parking lot. When a button on the remote is clicked, the car flashes its headlights and produces a distinct beep which makes it easier to find the car.
All modern cars come with keyless entry systems which ensure the safety of the cars as well as the convenience of the driver. Using a keyless remote for a car has also become something related to style. Keyless entry systems are available in the market at affordable prices which can be installed by a professional locksmith.

Airline Manufacturing Price Wars - Or Is It Just A Little Free-Market Competition?

Airline Manufacturing Price Wars - Or Is It Just A Little Free-Market Competition?Well, it appears that airliner sales have been slowing down, but the competition has been heating up. No one can really say what the actual price of all the airliners being sold happened to be, because they change between various deals, options, models, financing, quantity, and frequent sales. Okay so let's go ahead and talk about this for second shall we?
There was an interesting comment by the CEO of Airbus not too long ago, one which, I as a free-market capitalist cringed, because it appeared that Airbus very much enjoys its duopoly on the global airliner market that has with Boeing. Apparently Airbus feels that it deserves to compete in this way, and it hopes it can continue. Still, there's a big difference between monopolies, duopolies, cartels, and good old free-market competition.
Market Watch reported on July 16, 2012 "Airbus CEO says Boeing starting price war: report," which stated that the Airbus CEO said the Boeing Company was;
"instigating a price war to drum up interest in its short-haul 737 Max airliner against Airbus' hit A320neo," and said Boeing was attempting to gain market share, but "If their aircraft was better, they need not do that."
Now then, no offense to the Airbus CEO, but it's called competition, and may the best company win. And even if it is true that the Boeing Company is competing for price, aka in socialist terms; A Price War, then Airbus ought to realize that generally speaking the first mover to lower prices generally preempts and wins the price war, "so anyone wanting to short Airbus stock, now would be a smart time to do that," I recently joked to a friend.
Now then, I understand where all this comes from because I also realize that much of the European Union thinks along the lines of socialist, and labor parties. Airbus wants to make a profit, and pay high wages, and compete against the rest of the world while having the prices fixed so that everyone can make money. That's all good and wonderful for the airliner manufacturing industry, but what about all the customers, clients, and airlines by those Jets?
Are these customers not entitled to the best price, should they stop shopping around, and should Airbus and Boeing really be engaged in maintaining high prices, while keeping all the competition out of the industry? Are they asking for more collusion, and a continuation of this duopoly? It appears obvious to me that the Chinese want to into the market with their Comac C919, and that the Russians would like to help their airliner manufacturers Tupolev and Sukhoi do the same. What about Brazil and Canada with Embraer and Bombardier?
Look, if Boeing doesn't compete on price, quality, and service - yes, all three, then eventually those other airline manufacturers will find a slot to break into the industry in a big way. So at this point Airbus needs to increase production, lower costs, get their labor unions thinking straight, and deliver those airliners they've taken orders for and promised to their customers for the very best price they can. It's called competition, and it's good for America, it's good for Europe, and it's good for the world. It's time that Airbus dealt with it. Please consider all this and think on it.

The Business Traveller - Tips for Motels

The Business Traveller - Tips for Motels
For the weary business traveller a Motel can be a 'home away from home.' After spending hours on the road and in meetings, a motel provides a place where they can relax and unwind. That is why it is important a Motel provides the service and the small luxuries to make a business guests' stay comfortable and hopefully memorable.
When booking Motel accommodation a discerning business traveller will look for:
  • internet connection
  • work space
  • clean, comfortable and quiet rooms
  • a TV
  • breakfast facilities
  • central location
  • parking
  • corporate rates.
Wireless internet connection is vital for today's business. Most Motels are able to provide this service, some will even provide a set amount of Data for free. Internet access not only enables the business traveller to work, but also gives them the freedom of staying connected to their friends and family in the evenings, when they may need it most.
Internet access is also essential for Motels that have conference and/or meeting rooms. Technology such as video conferencing, interactive training, and online product demonstrations, all require business guests to access high-speed internet. Printing facilities should also be provided by reception, as with fax, and where possible a projector.
A small work space is also important for the business traveller. Where possible a Motel should provide a desk and chair, or similar set-up, to enable a business guest to use their laptop and spread out documents as needed.
Besides the obvious work needs, a business traveller values a clean and comfortable Motel room. Updating or refurbishing rooms every 5 to 10 years is an effective way to keep your Motel looking modern and fresh. Even small changes such as new bedspreads and curtains can make a difference in how a guest will perceive your Motel. A quiet Motel is also an advantage, no guests want to hear the room next door or traffic/city noise at night. The quietest Motels are usually built with solid brick/stone walls and are away from main roads and night spots.
A TV with access to many channels, or even free DVD's provided by the Motel, are other examples of how you can satisfy a weary traveller. Also providing small luxuries such as tea and coffee, milk, and toiletries, enables the business traveller to relax and feel more at home. Extras such as room service breakfast or breakfast facilities, are of even greater benefit when you have business guests staying.
Location is also key to the business guest. Centrally located Motels are excellent, especially if you can direct the guest to a good restaurant or bar within walking distance. Usually businesspeople have been on the road all day and do not feel like travelling at night to find a place to eat or drink.
Another facility that makes life easier for business guest is ground level parking, preferably outside the guests room. This is especially important for businesspeople who carry goods with them.
Lastly, Motel reception has to be friendly and organised, especially when business travellers are tired. And don't forget to provide the great corporate rate to the business savvy guest, that and loyalty cards/vouchers are a great way to keep the business guests coming back.

Travel Bucket List - Do You Have One?

They have become increasingly popular these days. Especially as people write down their dreams to better visualize them and have them become reality. But to make them come true, we need income.
Now, we all have our different reasons for creating residual income. Some of us don't like our jobs. Others want to spend more time with their families, while others want the freedom that money can allow us.
I will admit that I want 'all the above'.
But, ever since I was young, I have had the travel bug.
Travel Bucket List - Do You Have One?
As a kid growing up in London, I remember my Gran going to Hawaii and thinking it was the end of the earth. I was so jealous and could not envisage that I would ever get to America. I used to read about it and make lists of the cities in America I would visit when I got older.
Well, fast-forward 25 years and I have back-packed around the whorl, been to 45 states in America, lived in Australia and now spent 12 years in Japan.
I guess I have never really stopped traveling.
But I want more? Am I greedy? Maybe, but a while back, I compiled my travel bucket list and made my top 5 places to visit. And I will get there, and be earning while I am there. That I promise you!
Do you have a Travel Bucket List?
Here is my top 5:
5. Madagascar (travel bucket list)
I always remember Madagascar being so far way from everywhere. A place where no-one I know has been. But it is not all Lemurs. Madagascar has some of the least explored, beautiful beaches on earth. Give me this over Bora Bora any day. Real paradise... although I would not mind Bora Bora either.
4. Norway (travel bucket list)
The Fjords in Norway are famed for their spectacular beauty. In a world where pollution casts a grey cloud (literally) over many wonderful places, the Fjords remind me of how fresh and pure nature should be.
Crystal blue fresh water, abundant nature and calmness personified. I would love to cruise along thee serene fjords and contemplate life.
Now I live in Japan, they seem further away than ever but one day, I will take my wife here.
3. Patagonia (travel bucket list)
Ever since my fascination with other countries and places began, Patagonia to me has seemed like the end of the world. A mystical place, like in Lord of the Rings when the Elves set sail from Middle Earth. What awaited them we do not know. It is the same here. The beauty is striking.
The land so pure, unforgiving and yet majestic in its beauty. The picture below says it all. Patagonia, the end of the world
Do you have a Travel Bucket List?
2. The Galapagos Islands (travel bucket list)
When my wife and I married, I was toying with the idea of going on honeymoon here. In the end, it was too far and too expensive to get there from Japan. It still fascinates me and is number 2 on my travel bucket list.
Now I know the image is mainly the giant tortoises, but there is so much more weird and wonderful wildlife to be seen. The diving is also some of the best in the world I have heard.
1. Bhutan- The Last Shangri-LA (travel bucket list)
For as long as I can remember, Bhutan has been my number 1. Maybe it is like Tibet as Tibet should have been. The last Shangri-la. I would simply love to do a 2 or 3 week trekking expedition. The views, from what i have seen are breathtaking. The below photo shows Bhutan's most famous temple, precariously perched on a mountainside. This is the pinnacle of my travel bucket list.
So that is it.
What does it have to do with a blog on network marketing? Well, that is my vehicle to achieve the finances to grasp and live my dream.
And the best part, I get to do it while helping others achieve their dreams and go to the places on their travel bucket list.
I am a father, husband and marketer who enjoys helping people to achieve their financial goals while leveraging their time.

Business Travel - Drive Your Own Luxury Car or Rent One

I have a good friend who has a very nice Maserati which he leases, as he uses it for business. Of course, he also travels to nearby states each year to speak with his distributors, but he doesn't take his luxury car because he doesn't want to put all those miles on it, or subject it to some of the locations he will travel to. Therefore, he rents a car instead. Since he has so many stops all together, it doesn't make sense to fly to each location, and he also needs to take samples with him, and a variety of other things.
Business Travel - Drive Your Own Luxury Car or Rent OneOkay so, does this make sense, should you drive your own luxury car on a business trip which might last several weeks to many states? It's hard to say what your exact situation is, but I'd like you to please consider three items;
1. Costs
2. Add-On Extras
3. Business Associates Perception
You must consider the cost of renting the vehicle versus the cost of putting that wear and tear on your own car. Chances are you'd be better off with a rent a car. Still, if you are going to rent a car, there are things you need to know such as; what are the extra add-on costs?
I had recently talk to a gentleman who owns a body shop, and he told me that every time one of his clients would go to rent a vehicle at the local rental car agency to rent a car, the rental salesperson would try to sell them extra insurance in case of sandblasting because out here in the desert the wind can whip up occasionally causing paint damage. This is a very common extra add-on, one which you might want to think twice about, but you need to understand the risks.
On August 5, 2012 the LA Times had an interesting article titled "Puzzled by Damage Claim" by Catherine Hamm, where a reader writes in to explain a horror story of a rent-a-car company that charged them for hail damage which occurred after the car had actually been returned, and signed off as received.
Even if something isn't your fault, and there is damage to the car, sometimes the rental agency will try to pin it on you. I suppose the same occurs if you drive a luxury car and are leasing that car, and go to turn it in. What you might consider normal wear and tear, they might charge you for as part of the lease agreement. Whatever decision you eventually make, you need to go in with your eyes open on this. Therefore I ask that you please consider it all.
